Abstract

Paul Alonzo discusses the sports history of West Texas, having been one of the founders of the Shallowater Aztecs Club. He gives account of the struggles faced by being a minority in the baseball area of sports and the virtues of being involved with athletics. Time period covered 1940-2002, with concentration ca. 1960-2002.
