dc.description | The photograph shown on the reverse side of this page displays a print which has been used in one of the Lubbock Pictorial histories. It has been sited that these cowboys were a part of the Slaughter U Lazy S Ranch. Meanwhile we have this identification from the Midland book. Also, on page 91 of the Midland book there is further reference to Young Lee which has been identified as dancing on the print. Apparently, he had been a cowboy working closely with Abe Jesson of Midland who had been active in ranching, specifically on a large ranch in Crane County. At this writing of identification, a letter of inquiry will be sent to the Midland publishers to gain further information about the photograph. Our information shows that the rpint can be found in the Dorothy Rylander collection - SWCPC 332. tk 2/1/1985 | |
