Scope and Contents: Consists of photographs of people and places in early Lubbock, Texas (1880-1966). These include photos of the Quaker settlement at Estacado, Texas (1888), a cowboy "stag" dance (1900), Marjorie Merriweather Post with her daughter, Dina Merrill (1955), a Friends of the Library book sale, the 1972 ground breaking ceremony for the Mahon library, and a portrait of former Lubbock mayor, Max Tidmore.
