This photograph appears on the cover of the April 20, 1961 Toreador newspaper with the caption "ON YOUR MARK, FELLLOWS! ... three veteran sportsment prepare for the race of the year as Spring Festival time draws near. Left to Right, mounted are Dr. Alan Stout, Prof. Burl Hubbard and Dr. Howard Golden. The event is the annual bicycle race sponsored by Alpha Phi Omega as part of each year's Festival.
