The accompanying press release states "Shine Girl -- Texas Tech coed Ann Blackburn of Dallas proved the real meaning of school spirit Thursday when she tackled boots and shoes with a shine kit. A member of the Junior Council at Tech, the junior in the School of Education, was participating in a shoe shine program to raise funds for the purchase of a newlocator map as a visitor aid on the Tech campus. The boot contains the footof graduate student Kenneth McCasland of Wheeler, an agriculture education major."en_US
