dc.description.abstract | This interview features Don and Carolyn Kimbrell as they discuss being farmers and being active in the American Agriculture Movement and protests. In this interview, Kimbrell describes his relationships with other farmers and how he helped them with legal paperwork. He recalls being sent to jail for protesting on a bridge in McAllen, Texas. He closes the interview by recounting the 1979 Tractorcade, and his wife describes her involvement in the Tractorcade. | en_US |
