Description
1953 negative of a female student wearing homecoming mum and waving a Texas Tech pennant. The image appears on the cover of the October 1953 issue of the Texas Techsan magazine with the caption "A Tech ex, a mum for the football game, a Tech banner, the ad building in the background - it all adds up to the picture with the festive air of Homecoming. Mary Jane Hinchey, a '49 history grad, is our cover girl this month. A Lubbock ex, Miss Hinchey is employed at the Citizens National Bank in Lubbock."
