Photograph of two men taken in 1970. The accompanying press release states "DISTINGUISHED ALUMNUS -- The President of the Republic of Panama, Demetrio B. Lakas, left, is named a 'distinguished alumnus' of Texas Tech University and receives the certificate and medal from Tech President Grover E. Murray. Lakas was one of four Texas Tech ex-students receiving the distinction at the 1970 'distinguished alumnus' luncheon." (Tech Photo)
