Artist's statement: "This small palm-sized book has photographs of Nettles every decade, from a girl of ten to a woman in her fifties. The eyes are cut out to reveal alternately the young eyes in the older face, then the older eyes in the younger face. It is a humorous, jarring, but truthful study of the process of aging."
