Description
Photograph of an aerial view of the Texas Tech campus looking north in 1960. The surrounding neighborhoods of North and South Overton, Tech Terrace and Arnett Benson are visible. Notable in the photograph are trial crop beds in the lower left bottom; the separate buildings for the Student Union Building, Recreation Hall and Cafeteria, and the Music Building; the open land directly south of the Music Building was called the Parade Grounds; and the Tech Farm dominated much of the west and southwest area of campus.
