dc.descriptionAccording to Mineral Policy Sector, Department of Energy, Mines and Resources, Ottawa: "The earliest report of work on the Texas claim (Lot 662) was in 1894-95 when 2 adits were driven a total of 126 feet or more. On the Potter-Palmer claim (Lot 661), adjoining to the northeast, an adit was driven 126 feet. The above claims and the Granada (Lot 869), located 1,500 feet north of the Texas, were Crown-granted to E.S. Graham in 1897-1898. The claims were subsequently reverted to the crown."
