| dc.description | The 1926 Board of Directors meeting minutes includes the 2/4/26 (Lubbock) meeting concerning the superintendant of farms and the college's budget, including travel funds for faculty, the construction of an outdoor track and summer school; the 4/12/26 (Fort Worth) meeting concerning the closing of the College Cafeteria; the 5/17/26 (Lubbock) meeting detailing faculty travel funds, the purchase of 25 steers to be placed on campus for grazing, the purchase of circus seats for the athletic field and the erection of a temporary gymnasium near the athletic field; the 6/4/26 (Lubbock) meeting reviewed college expenses and faculty salaries; the 11/11/26 (Lubbock) meeting; the 7/17/26 meeting concerning medical services for the college; the 10/30/26 (Fort Worth) meeting covered leasing of the Easter Dormitory, the building of a gymnasium, the presenting of a check from Will Rogers to help cover the expense for the College Band to go to the T.C.U.-Texas Tech football game, and the purchase of 25 steers; and the 11/3/26 (Lubbock) meeting concerning fire and tornado insurance, and the location of the new gymnasium; and the 12/4/26 (Fort Worth) meeting discussing the publication of a booklet on the Textile Engineering building and equipment and payment for the gymnasium. | en_US |
