This issue covered topics such as The Catalyst's Freak Show Picnic; filming campus rallies and protests; the Tech football team and Coach Jim Carlen; the Concerned Citizens of Lubbock meetings protesting school integration; a run down of campus news; a letter critizing the Lubbock Avalanche-Journal and Charlie Guy; a bond election for a convention center in Lubbock; the bombing of the University of Wisconsin's U.S. Army Math Research Center; the Standard Mill Rock Fest; students at Monterey High School suspended for failture to follow school dress code pertaining to their hair and the Lubbock Chapter of the American Civil Liberty Union's resolution involving the matter; police arrests in Lubbock; Tech's "disruption rule" in the Code of Student Affairs rules; music records reviews; "Things You Should Know About Our 1st Amendment; the town of Del Rio; the AAUP on comments by Senator H. J. "Doc" Blanchard about the firing of faculty who participate in demonstrations. The issue is dated September 14-30, 1970, and sold for 25 cents.
