Abstract
Description
Photograph of the civil war era Val Verde cannon on brick platform. Includes image of interpretative text panels on sides of brick mount. The cannon was originally acquired by the Confederate Val Verde Battery in April 1864 from Union forces. It was displayed at the Joe Johnston Camp No. 94, and fired at annual confederate veteran reunions.
