| dc.description | Scrapbook documenting the activities of the women living in the Home Management House at Texas Technological College from fall 1942 to spring 1943. Included are handwritten notes, calendar of events, the names of the students living in the house, photographs, news clippings, and memorabilia. The young ladies living in the management house learned skills such as budgeting, home management skills, and cooking. Adults resided with the students and caring for a young child was often part of the program as well. The baby pictured in this scrapbook is Tommy Tice. | en_US |
