dc.descriptionScrapbook documenting the activities of the women living in the Home Management House at Texas Technological College from 1939 to 1940. The scrapbook contents center around handwritten notes, photographs, news clippings, and recollections concerning the care of babies at the Home Management House. Ronald Royce Purvis, nicknamed "Butch," is the baby most heavily featured in the scrapbook. Condition wise the leather ties on the exterior spine are frayed. The cover is cracked and falling apart and some photographs are loose.en_US
