Photograph of Ruth Slaton, who was crowned queen of the 1927 Texas Technological College pageant. Handwritten by the bottom right corner of the photograph are the words "Ruth Slaton Queen of Pageant Tech-1927" and "Ernest Salmon Majestic (?) Studio Dallas."
