Description

Photograph of a woman in formal dress holding a flower bouquet and looking down at a young boy holding a crown made of cotton on a pillow. The 1948 Cotton Queen was selected from a group of eight finalists at the Cotton Carnival. The photograph, taped inside a Phi Psi Fraternity Texas-shaped scrapbook, is accompanied by the caption "ΦΨ Cotton Queen & Crown Bearer 1948."
