Photograph of members of the 1936 Matador football team at Texas Technological College. The names of the athletes are handwritten on the back of the photograph in black ink. Pictured on the Line/Front Row are: Right End - J. W. West; Right Tackle - Jess Browning (#58); Right Guard - Pete Owens (#53); Center - Tox Wigginton; Left Guard - Lew Jones (#54); Left Tackle - Les Browning (#57); and Left End - Hershel "Red" Ramsey. Pictured Backfield/Back Row are: Right Half Back - Wyn Baze (#39); Fullback - George Winters (#42); Quarterback - Demp Cannon (#19); and Left Half Back - Miles Chapman (#14).
