Abstract

Description

Photograph of Texas Tech football coach with two unidentified men taken in 1961. The back of the photograph was labeled "Recognition Boy Scout movement Alpha Phi Omega Tech presentation Florida State game Boy Scout ushers."
This image appears on the cover of the October 5, 1961 issue of the Toreador with the caption "New Addition to Jones Stadium - Athletic Director Polk Robinson thanks two officials of Alpha Phi Omega for the job their organization did in laying a tremendous 'Double T' on the north sloping edge of the Tech gridiron. The 23 ft. high concrete marker is now a permanent feature of the stadium. Plans call for flags of all SWC schools to be on each side of the 'T'."
