This issue covered topics such as mock letters to to Lubbock Avalanche-Journal reporter Charlie Guy and an apology of sorts for the error of having Guy's home address given out to music festival attendees; a critique of the Tech Greek System; a recap of student protests and bomb scares in the U.S.; an update on The Catalyst lawsuit and related legal cases; New York's abortion bill; Texas Tech's faculty council rejection to condemn the administration for its ban of The Catalyst; a bio of election nominee Paulina Jacobo; a political satire ad of Lloyd Bentsen; the Gay Liberation Movement; the Civil Rights Movement from 1963-1967; knowing your drug dealer; criticism of Richard Nixon; University Daily's editor Jimmie Snowden and the arrest of Roger Settler; growing marijuana in your backyard; and the music festival. The issue is dated April 28-May 12, 1970, and sold for 15 cents.
