Abstract
This interview features Mary Jeanne Van Appledorn as she gives a more in depth account of her career at Texas Tech University. In this interview, Van Appledorn describes building up the music department, and creating music degrees in the early years of the department. She also discusses a symposium that she worked on and why it ended.
