Abstract

Description

Photograph of a group of unidentified miners, some standing by and some seated on a pile of wood. The image has white flecks across the lower right corner and is a bit dark. The mine was owned by the Texas and Pacific Coal Company.
The back of the photograph is labelled "#1 Coal Mine 1908" and "First started sinking #1 mine" and "Mrs. R. A. Satterfield."
