dc.descriptionUndated image of pumping unit or pump jack. PBPM 79-039.037.01 Inscription (on back): The well pictured on the reverse side hereof is the AMERICAN PETROFINA COMPANY OF TEXAS' S. E. WESTBROOK UNIT WELL NO. 701, AN OUT-PUT WELL, involved in its water-flood secondary recovery operation. This well was spudded in 1919 and completed in July, 1920 as the Underwriters Producing & Refining Company's Abrams Well No. 1, the first paying producer of oil in the entire Permian Basin, and, as of and on October 31, 1979, was still producing oil as an out-put well of and in the unit just above mentioned.
