This issue covered topics such as The Catalyst's printing difficulties due to the Lubbock Tornado and local presses refusing to print the underground paper; arrests and house searchers of staff members of The Catalyst; the breaking of the arm of Los Terulianos's president Billy Aquero by a Lubbock officer; Ralph Yarborough's loss in the elections to Lloyd Bentsen; death of civil rights protesters; underground newspapers; Nixon's administration invading Cambodia and the slayings at Kent State University; arts protesting the U.S. government; and music. The issue is the first summer edition, 1970, and sold for 25 cents.
