Abstract

Plan for the second and floor floors of the Administration Building.

Description

The Administration Bulding was the first structure built at the newly established Texas Technological College. The plan for the second floor identifies the stair cases, bathroom facilities, room numbers, the english classroom and office spaces, and the chemistry and physics classroom. The third floor plan identifies bathroom facilities, staircases, corridors, and education classroom and office, a large lecture room, a committee room, a student newspaper office, an athletic office, a agriculture classroom and office, and two history classrooms and an office. Labeled "Job No. 1694" and "Sheet No. A-3."
The Texas Tech University Physical Plant Department scanned the item for accessibility. The original vellum blueprints, which now reside in the holdings of the University Archives, are fragile and unavailable for use.
