Description

The Activists' Forum newspaper is comprised of 4 pages of student written articles, satires and political statements. This issue covered topics such as the Board of Directors selecting the name "Texas Tech university" for the growing university; Preston Smith's bid for lieutenant governor; marijuana use in the United States; the Tech Chapter of the American Association of University Professor's resolution on student rights; the need for more diversity in the classroom; politician George Wallace and Alabama; the Chicago rallies; and the enrollment figures at Texas Tech versus UT and A&M.
