Image of five men on the steps of the new library for its dedication ceremony in October of 1962. This image appeared in an October 22, 1962 news clipping with a caption stating: LEADERS IN LIBRARY DEDICATION -- Five leading participants in dedication of Texas Tech's massive new library gathered on the front steps of the building Sunday just before the dedication ceremonies. They are, left to right, Ray Janeway, Tech librarian; Dr. R. S. Lumiansky, Tulane provost and dedicatory speaker; Manuel DeBusk, chairman of the Tech board of directors; Rep.
