Description
Undated photograph of Suzanne deVerse Aker. She was born on September 19, 1926 in Kansas City, Missouri. Aker received her B.A. in English/Art from the University of Tulsa in 1962. Texas Technological College offered her an instructor position in the Department of Physical Education for Women in 1962. She was promoted to assisted professor in 1965. Aker resigned her position in 1970.
