Abstract

Description

Photograph of an angled view of the east side of the Dairy Barn on the campus of Texas Technological College.
The photograph was originally pasted on page 90 of the Block and Bridle Club "Annual Report, 1948-1949" with the caption "The dairy cattle barn, one of the oldest animal husbandry buildings at Tech, was completed in 1925. In 1948, it was equipped with a combine milking unit and milking parlor. Many Block and Bridle members have secured employment at the dairy cattle barn to pay their way through college. The candidates for dairy cattle judging teams have workouts frequently at the dairy cattle barn." The photograph, which came loose from the page, was placed into an archival photograph sleeve and is housed separately from the report.
