dc.descriptionPhotograph of Harold Hinn holding up framed photo of Texas Tech building lit up for the school's annual Carol of Lights event. The other man is unidentified. Hinn served as a member of the Texas Tech Board of Directors from 1957-1963. In 1959, Hinn provided the funding to purchase and hang holiday lights on the buildings in the Science Quad and Administration Building which began the Carol of Lights tradition at the university.en_US
