Photograph of the first women ROTC members at Texas Tech. The accompanying press release states: "FIRST FOR TECH ROTC -- Col. Haynes Baumgardner (seated) professor of Aerospace Studies, and Maj. James A. Warsinske, assistant professor, welcome and explain the Air Force ROTC program to two freshmen who will be among the first women in the history of Texas Tech University to enter the AFROTC program. Receiving their first military briefing are Leslie Lohoefer and Karla Eoff of Lubbock (Tech Photo)."
