Sophomore James R. Casperson mistakenly in the women's dormitory line.
Accompanying press release states: "WRONG LINE--Texas Tech sophomore James R. Casperson had the right idea but the wrong line during registration for summer school Tuesday. He wanted a dormitory, alright, but mistakenly wandered into the line assigning rooms in the girls' dorms. Maybe the Amarillo math major was just drawn there by hisi interest in figures." by Dawson N. Oppenheimer. This release was distributed 7-18-67 to all Lubbock media and Amarillo.
