Sally Halley, Junior Council, and Rodeo President Jack Horne looking at proposal for the Ranch Headquarters.
Accompanying press release states: "NEW COMMITTEE PLANNED--Texas Tech's Junior Council and the Rodeo Association have united to help form a Junior Ranch Planning Committee to aid in planning for a Ranch Headquarters to be established in connection with Tech's proposed new $6 million Museum. The campus group is an auxiliary to a committee headed by Dr. and Mrs. W. C. Holden of Lubbock. The Ranch Headquarters will focus attention on the historical development of the South Plains and the West. The Junior Ranch committee will encourage other campus organizations to participate. Examining a Museum brochure are Junior Council representative Sally Halley of Lubbock, and Rodeo Association President Jack Horne of Coleman."
