Abstract
Description
This is a map that coincides with General Thomas H. Ruger's time as Commanding General for the Department of Missouri that shows a marked trail from Fort Sill to Fort Stanton across the Staked Plains in the late-1800s. The map was most likely produced between 1886 and 1890 based on information present on the map. It originally consisted of 4 sheets. The library copy is the 2 lower sheets that display Texas.
