Description
Photograph of an architect's rendering of the proposed new Central Heating and Cooling Plant dated October 18, 1966. The accompanying press release states "NEW FACILITY -- Texas Tech's proposed new Central Heating and Cooling Plant is shown in this architect's drawing. The new facility will be located immediately southwest of the Central Food Facilities west of Flint Avenue. The Tech Board will consider the awarding of the contract for the facility at its Jan. 25, 1967 session. The facility is expected to cost approximately $3.5 million."
