Abstract
Description
Photograph of Carolyn Rodriquez looking at a candy house display made by Tech's Central Food Facilities employees.
Caption accompanying the photo: GOOD ENOUGH TO EAT -- Six-year-old Carolyn Rodriquez has thoughts of her own as Santa sits atop a candy house seemingly pondering the big job ahead. The display was made by employees of Texas Tech's Central Food Facilities in their off-duty hours. Facilities manager Joe B. Holmes fashioned the base of plywood, and workers covered the house with icing, multi-colored candies and twinkling lights outlining the roof. "It's our way of sending Holiday greetings to all those we serve at Tech," said Holmes. Carolyn, whose mother works at the facility, is the daughter of Mr. Mrs. Tony Rodriquez. (Tech Photo)
