Abdi Abdul-Hussien Abdushah was born on August 27, 1931, in Dezful, Iran. He received his M.S. in 1962 in Educational Psychology from the University of Kansas and his Ph.D. in 1969 in Political Science from the University of Oregon. In 1970, he became an Assistant Professor in the Department of Government at Texas Tech University. He unexpectedly passed away in 1971.
