Description
Including the front and back covers and inserted maps, the brief is 57 pages and was submitted by the Midland Local Committee to the Locating Board for Texas Technological College. The bound document covers such subjects as climatic conditions; water supply; agriculture and livestock; city faciilties including buildings, utilities, schools and churches; transportation accessibility; and possible sites for the new college. The section titled "Midland in Pictures" has images on irrigation, bathing facilities, beautiful homes in the area, schools, churches, the Texas and Pacific Depot, and numerous agricultural scenes.
