Description
The May, 1945, issue of the Texas Tech Alumni News newspaper was a new phase in the college's alumni publication. The Alumni Association was seeking to reorganize its structure during this time period as well. The newspaper was originally 8 pages but due to the fragile nature of newspaper pages 4-5 were not scanned. Thus the PDF is only 6 pages long. Topics covered included a brief recap of the college's first 20 years; the restructuring of the Alumni Association; updates on the college's alumni during the war years; the original faculty that remained at Tech; and the names of those that died or went missing during World War II.
