Undated photograph of three people with a certificate. The accompanying press release states "TECH ANGEL FLIGHT RECOGNIZED -- Maj. Henry L. Gantz Jr., Head of Texas Tech's Air Force ROTC Detachment, presents a proclamation from Gov. John Connally to two members of Tech's Angel Flight naming the Tech contingent Texas' official representative to the National Sunshine Drill Competition March 19 in Tucson, Ariz. Receving the proclamation are, left to right, Carol Giraud, daughter of Sgt. Major and Mrs. Frank Giraud of San Antonio, and Angel Flight Commander Jane Sosnowy, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John H. Sosnowy of Texas City."
