The accompanying press release states "CAMPUS VISITOR--State Attorney General Waggoner Carr, a 1940 Texas Tech graduate, visited the campus Wednesday prior to an appreciation dinner in his honor. Here, Carr takes time out for a Library visit and a chat with Dr. William Davis (left), Tech government professor under whom the Attorney General studied."
