Description
Undated image of the entrance to the Textile Research Center on a snowy day. This slide was part of the December 16, 1985, Science and Technology Slide Show and the script for this slide describes the slide as "The interface of research and industry began the day Texas Tech's charter was signed in 1923. The charter instructed Tech to give thorough instruction in technology and textile engineering for manufacturing of raw materials produced in Texas."
