Description
For Your Information was a newsletter produced by the Office of University News and Publications at Texas Tech University for distribution to faculty and staff. It covered the highlights of what was happening at the university and listed upcoming events. The issues here are comprised of 23 issues that run from June 7, 1972 to May 16, 1973. Topics covered include faculty hiring and promotions; increase of 3 year baccalaureate programs; the start of a women's exercise program; a policy change regarding where the Carol of Lights event can be held due to recent court decisions; Tech's 50th anniversary seal and events; Tech's tenure policy; a double groundbreaking, the first in Tech history, for the Medical School and the Library's addition; and the Regent's approval for establishing an Institute of Food Science and Human Nutrition.
