Description
For Your Information was a newsletter produced by the Office of University News and Publications at Texas Tech University for distribution to faculty and staff. It covered the highlights of what was happening at the university and listed upcoming events. The issues here are comprised of 15 issues that run from January 6, 1971 to May 19, 1971. Topics covered include faculty hiring and promotions; student highlights such as enrollment and awards; administrative decisions by the Board of Regents; the approval of a geography department, a veterinary degree and a masters of music degree; President Murrray's overview of the university's situation; the move of Art and Architecture into their new buildings; an overview of appropriations for the various Texas universities; and the acceptance of female members into the National Intramural Association.
