Shows rivers, villages of Native American tribes and early settlements in Texas, including Parker's Fort, Torrey's Trading House, Ft. Towson and the Chihuahua Trail. Also shows the route of Josiah Gregg in 1839 and the route from Wagon Road from Independence to Santa Fe. Borders with Arkansas, Louisiana, Missouri, New Mexico, and Mexico are shown.
