Description
Photograph of Winfield "Windy" Nicklaus' lettermen sweaters being donated to the Texas Tech Museum in May of 1978. Nicklaus, captain of the first Texas Tech football team, played ball from 1926-1928. Accompanying the photograph is a handwritten piece of paper stating "August 1989. These pictures of Windy Nicklaus donating his 1st, 2nd, and 3rd double T sweater to the Museum were donated by Sylva Wesendonk (Pictures taken May 1978)." Pictured from left to right are Polk Robinson, Magdalen Dederick Carpenter, W. W. "Windy" Nicklaus and J. T. King at Tech Museum.
