Abstract
Description
Negative of two Texas Tech students carrying balloons with attached colored cards into Memorial Circle taken on February 1, 1993. As part of the kickoff ceremony for Black History Month, the African flag was raised in Memorial Circle and members of the Black Student Association released red, green, gold and black balloons with attached colored cards stating BSA's theme for February, "Unifying us...our campus, our world." Page 3 of the February 2, 1993 issue of The University Daily contains a story on the unification ceremony.
