The PDF for the 10/21/60 meeting is 79 pages long and covers topics such as: numerous building project updates including deferment of the solar screen inserts for the new Library, approval of plans for the Science Building and four new tennis courts by the Women's Gymnasium, and discussion of a cornerstone for the new library; increasing teaching salaries; a request to study and set up a job classification system for non-academic personnel; possibility for converting one of the men's residences into a dormitory for women and rejection of the suggestion for married housing on campus; and the naming of the residence halls #5-8 as Thompson Hall, Gaston Hall, Wells Hall, and Carpenter Hall.
