Description

Photograph of people attending a meeting in April of 1970. The caption taped on the back of the photo states "OGALLALA SPECIALISTS -- Registering Thursday at the first technical meeting to be held on the Ogallala Aquifer which underlies the Great Plains of the United States, were: left to right, Raymond York of the Texas Water Rights Commission, Austin; L. J. Buettner and R. C. Redfield of the Amarillo office of the Bureau of Reclamation and S. P. Jett of the Bureau of Reclamation in Austin. The two-day meeting is considering research work by specialists in Texas, Colorado, Oklahoma, Wyoming, New Mexico and Kansas. (Tech Photo)"
